Molded Soaps

Molded soaps are made with a "melt & pour" or "M&P" soap base.

Soap bases are formulated to withstand re-melting and to accept additives. Soap bases come in a variety of types...goat milk, shea butter, oatmeal, honey, cocoa butter, and so many others.

And unlike traditional soapmaking the saponification process is completed at the manufacturers so you don't have to allow your M&P soap to cure before you use it. Which means that as soon as it is cool and firm you can take it into the shower or bath for a test drive!

Molds

Soap molds come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. You can buy specialty molds from soap making supply companies in various shapes and sizes.

Or you can get creative and use items around your house such as yogurt containers or plastic food containers.
